Integrative Health Solutions Foundation is the non-profit aspect of Brain Balancing of Greater Boston and is funded by the Susanne Marcus Collins Foundation. Because of her ability to see how Brainwave Optimization has benefitted the people in her life, her passion for this type of healing initiated her to become very involved with the work of Lee Gerdes, CEO of Brain State Technologies.

Her next step was to gift Brain State Technologies with $600,000 for research and development at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. This new grant will allow Dr. Charles Tegeler and his team to continue the following studies:

  • Migraine study
  • Insomnia study
  • PTSD study
  • Mild cognitive impairment (MCI)
  • Traumatic brain injury (TBI)

This non-profit is dedicated to the veterans coming back from deployment that have PTSD, TBI, and PCS. Our veterans have symptoms such as insomnia, road rage, memory issues, depression, anxiety, memory issues and a host of other symptoms. If they deploy two or three times their symptoms can worsen. After two to three Brainwave Optimization intensives, their symptoms greatly lessen and most have disappeared. If they need more sessions, they are welcomed to come back at any time. If they are able to, veterans make an optional donation to help “pay it forward” for the next veteran to be treated.

Because veterans are not the only victims suffering from PTSD, our 501(c)(3) non-profit is able to treat others who suffer from PTSD at a discounted rate.
